Happy CNY!

Gong Xi Fa Cai!

Yes, it's Chinese New Year. Never thought I'd actually celebrate it here in Brighton, but I did! And here are the pictures to prove it!

At Sunny Restaurant, celebrating CNY with a steamboat feast!

Ayne making a face, haha...

There were a lot of us who attended, but the pictures were taken with Shu Yee's camera, so if you're interested, check out Facebook!

Introducing Arfah, who came back from London and joined us for dinner.

The steamboat. I know it looks like boils (get the pun?) but the whole meal tasted great! Really!

Student services. With a little CNY decoration. XD

img_0094

Google celebrates it too!

Ang Pow given by Mr Jepps (my maths teacher). He's incredibly nice, and hey, four pence isn't half bad! It's the thought that counts, eh?

The cafeteria! With CNY decoration too. =P

Heard that CLS is having a one-week break? Excellent! To all colistrians, enjoy!

Random

Yes, bloggers, it's me being random again. Heh. Gitz, TJ, Kah Ying, Denise - Thanks for replying to my previous post, although it's lameless ought to be reexamined and should be obliterated from everyone's memory altogether.

XD

My *neat* room!

To the left, the one and only Too Shu Yee, who is seriously good at finding excellent places to... yes, eat! And to the left, Miss Holly Belcham, who remains as charming as ever. =P

The stuff we ate at La Tasca (where Shu Yee got us 50% discount!) and it was sinfully good...

img_0072

See what I mean? SINFULLY good.

The La Tasca (Spanish restaurant) menu.

Kazakhstan sweets of Shu Yee's.

I know! Her room looks so much cozier, right? And Shu Yee, if you don't want me to put up this pic, just let me know. I shall strip it off immediately. XD

Weighing Scale And Me

We have a very reasonable relationship. It shows me what I usually see, I won't shake it up and knock it against the floor - I'm happy, it's happy. But an extra 3kg is not what I usually see. And it's been said that in the UK, you tend to weigh lighter (something to do with gravitational force) and that does not bode well for what I'm prepared to weigh when I get back to Malaysia.

Gah.

Screw it.

Anyway, I have to finish a Literature essay by today. And I wanted to join Spanish or French class, but they're both booked. And I can't join the Italian class because it clashes with another meeting on Monday. Yippee.

PS: I'm volunteering at Oxfam Bookshop during the weekends! Haha. I emailed them, and now all I have to do is get there and get the application form and fill it in. Yay!

I'm feeling a little demented right now.

Timetable =P

Gitz - Thanks Gitz, for complimenting my college, but probably coz I put up flattering pictures of it! I didn't upload the not-so-nice ones, hehe. And of course, HAPPY 18TH BIRTHDAY!

TJ - Thank you for the praise. XD. Though like I told Gitz, you ain't seen the worst yet. Haha.

Saras - If only I could ship off some of the food back with me... LoL

Kah Ying - Can't push the chair far back, but it's okay, I think. What some of the other residence do is that they remove the drawers from under the desk, so that there's more room for the feet, and it also provides an extra stand for things.

Haneesha - Moustache competition? Really?

Tadah! Here's my timetable... Random, I know. =P

img_2256

And I bought two whole big packets of apples today. I think there's like 16 apples in my room right now - two of them are rotten though. Heh. Got it all for 4 pounds, which is about RM20? Probably 20% more expensive than Malaysia. Gah. Wasting money.

Heh

Sorry, bloggers, for this long overdue post! Here's a quick post of what I've been having for meals...

img_0007

That's a typical breakfast for yours truly.

img_0018

And that's typical dinner.

Haven't gotten a picture of lunch yet, but that's probably coz I'm too busy eating until I've finished everything, and I'm like, 'oh, I was supposed to take of picture first!'. Ah well. At least you people will know why I come back in June resembling an elephant.

School has been pretty interesting. So far. Haha. I've got to do laundry today, and it takes about 2 hours or just slightly below that. Going to skype with my dear parents later! Pity them though, they actually made it a point to wake up at 5 something in the morning, coz of the time difference.

I wonder how CNY will be like over here. No worries, I'll post about it!

As for all you people, enjoy school/college/work !

Yippee! I finally got Wi-Fi in my room, otherwise I'd never be able to post anything else again (everything worthwhile is on my comp). So here's what I've been up to...

Dad kept saying it's really small, but I really like it! Aren't I a neat and tidy packer? XD

I'm going to post more later on college grounds. For now, toodles!
