Mac: Tip & Tricks
1. There's a switcher on mac. Just press 'command' and 'apple' key simultaneously.
2. To allow for easier application access, drag the application folder into the Dock.
3. If you come across any word online that you want to refer, just highlight it and right click, then press 'Look up Dictionary'.
4. To remove applications from the Dock, just press 'Control' while clicking, then select 'Remove from Dock'.
5. To search for anything: Select the little blue search button on the top right of the desktop and type in file/program name.
6. If you select 'Alt' key while typing, you'll get an odd collection of letters. If you select 'Alt'+'Shift', you get even rare letters (i.e. 'Alt+Shift+K' gives you an apple shape).
7. If you hold down the 'Shift' key and minimize a window, the window will minimize in slow motion. It works for both minimizing and maximizing.
8. To remember a piece of text, you can insert a 'Sticky' by selecting 'Apple+Shift+Y'. Useful if you need snippets from the internet.
9. To view your screen in negative, select 'Control+Alt+Apple+8'.
To Tabby: I don't think you know what I'm talking about. It's nothing to do with, ahem, you know what. =P
To TJ: Yes, indeed. Sleep I need.

>.<
Sorry I haven't replied all of your comments - I will do so in the next post. This one, on the other hand, is simply a nonsensical piece of crap which you really don't have to read.
Let's face it, I live a superficial life - a superficial lie - and I'm constantly on the lookout for something better, something I was destined for, something that gives me more meaning than counting down the days before the next coming of Christ (which might not even happen in my lifetime). I keep needing some sort of fix to drive myself on, to crawl forwards somehow.
Those of you who know me inside out - you can probably guess what I'm talking about, though there's no need to mention it here. It drives me crazy, but what if craziness is sometimes all that you need? What if it's okay for you not to be like everyone else, because that's how you release yourself in the face of everything? What if it doesn't matter that the people you love are worried sick over you no matter how you tell them not to be, because you just know you're fine?
It may not be a normal sort of fine, but I am fine. Sometimes, I think that it's such a big part of my personality that it would only be too hard to pry myself away, because it's been there when I was growing up - it's been with me throughout the most roller-coaster years of my life, and today, it's not so much a necessity than a habit, a habit that gives me comfort and a certain degree of okay-ness.
Or maybe I just need some sleep.

A Day of Homework
Not half bad, I guess. At least it's not all in one day.
But that just means I'll have to study more.
Oh, did I mention? I went to watch 'Seventeen Again' with Shu Yee yesterday, starring Zac Efron. I didn't expect much from the movie, so I came out of the cinema feeling satisfied. LoL. We had a Ben & Jerry's Cheesecake Chocolate Chip ice cream for the movie, and some gummi bears from WHSmith. And then... *drumroll*... We went to feast on Malaysian food! At this restaurant called 'Me Old China'. Shu Yee had laksa, and I had Char Ho Fun.
I really really really miss Penang Laksa. And Char Ho Fun. And Popiah.
*drools*

Guitar Tragedy
I don't know what to do! Do I confront the cleaners about this? Coz they cleaned my room today. But I have no proof, and I also don't want to drag people into this, especially if they didn't do anything. And if it's all an accident, then I can't go round blaming people, and I really do feel responsible for it myself. But if I don't, I'm seriously screwed, because I'll have to either tell the school and pay them back, or buy another in its place. The poor guitar! Gosh...

I'm screwed! Do you know how much guitars cost? NO NO NO!
It actually hurts the soul... GAH

Can't sleep!
I honestly can't believe this... I've been able to act like a complete pig for the past couple of weeks and now, my piggishness has to stop right before my first day! I'm going to have eyebags tomorrow!
This is ridiculous! Go and sleep, you!

Beach Day

Surprisingly, the beach has more activity than every other shopping centre (nearly all shops are closed due to Easter Sunday).

Miss Holly Belcham! ... who refuses to look at the camera...

Elvina, eating her hotdog. She claims it's not as nice as the other day when she shared it with Shu Yee. But then again, things are nicer when you have less of it, no? =P

Thought the building back there was nice.

La-di-da.

If y'all see carefully, the sand here isn't exactly 'sand'. It's more like pebbles and rocks, very unlike the beaches in Malaysia.

Hurling stones into the sea.

'Careful now...'

Cute moment.

'Mum, look at me! Not at the sky!'

This guy actually asked me, 'You taking a picture of me?' and I was like, 'Heh...'

Fun at the beach.

Ice-cream at the beach.

Lovely little gathering.

Having some little treats.

Aww...
I think (know?) that we're not really allowed to take pictures of people, but since I'm only taking pictures in public venues, it's not really considered an invasion of privacy, is it? Coz I really do enjoy it. LoL
Right. The psychology worksheet next to me is calling my name. Ciao.

Krystle - Ah sweetie. It's not time for you to look at anyone's rant. See that book over there? It's calling your name. =P
Mun Yee - You lah baboon. I thought you need to learn Mandarin also right?
Kah Ying - 谢谢你的关心。其实, 我也没怎么了,只是有些时候不大觉得像自己。 我还是写个电子信函给你吧!
Hooi Ping - 1 out of 10? Half Banana? More like Complete Banana! XD
TJ - When boredom hits you, try it yourself. It's not half bad.
Gitz - You ah... *roars with laughter* ... If I were reading Sindi words, I would also be seeing patterns wei...
Saras - Maybe the dress is transparent... Who knows? It's a book cover, dear =P
Vennila - Nope, didn't visit Churchill's Chapel... What's the story? LoL
Sarah - Well, I hope that my comment on 'The Memory Keeper's Daughter' is still worthwhile. I think it's quite nice, and yes, it's worth the money, but you see first yeah. You know lah, me and you, our tastes in books are sometimes on the same length (i.e. Jodi Picoult) and sometimes clashing (i.e. The Book Thief). Haha.
Tabby - I won't really get in trouble lah, for putting up a kid's picture. *pause* Right?
